The Covid-19 pandemic has hit the dental profession particularly hard. The uncertainty among patients has led to a decline in dental treatments. The effects and long-term consequences for dentistry cannot yet be foreseen. In order to counter this uncertainty, it is necessary to learn more about the actual incidence of infections in dental practices.

The ERO, the European Regional Organisation of the Fédération Dentaire Internationale (FDI), is currently conducting an online survey in cooperation with German Dental Association (Bundeszahnärztekammer). The survey takes a closer look at the question of Covid-19 infections in the course of dental treatments among dentists and their practice teams.

You can get the link to the survey through these dental associations:

All colleagues who have been infected or where an infection occurred in their dental team are encouraged to take part in this survey, which is important for our profession.

Answering the questions is easy and takes not more than five minutes. The replies will help to understand how vulnerable dentists and their teams really are.

The survey is confidential and will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. For further questions you might have you can contact the German Dental Association via
